Well, here we sit in in the Sooke Harbour House in Sooke, BC, Canada on Vancouver Island. We came for our friend AKC's wedding and it was awesome.
The place we're staying is way out of our budget, but DKO was really really looking forward to this and we thought the wedding site would be the most convenient place to stay.
We come back tomorrow (5/7) and then chemo #4 on 5/9.
DKO is doing o.k., but is really tired. We're both fretting that her counts will be down and that may postpone the next treatment. We had a really wonderful dinner alone our last night here, but we took the opportunity to vent fears. Always hard, but probably ultimately good.
We've had a great time up here---it really is gorgeous---but we're looking forward to coming home.

At least you two got to go to such a beautiful place. Hope 5-9 chemo does go as planned. And as always, the family here only has thoughts and good wishes for you two there.
I'm also hoping that the next chemo goes through and that DKO's numbers are where they need to me. I'm glad y'all had a great time at the wedding. I'll be in town starting May 15, until the 27th, and maybe I can cook some meals for you again. Steve may come over for part of the trip. I'll keep you posted on things, but I'm definitely hoping this next chemo round goes well for you.
