It's not what you think, Jennie!
Diane's sister Cathy--the "catheter"--arrived today for a week. I'm off to a conference in Taiwan and she's on watch while I'm away.
Chemo #3 is coming up next week, so this is a relatively high energy period for DKO. The main symptom for now is exhaustion. Even a small errand tires her out and though she normally poopoos my napping inclinations, she seems to be having no trouble availing herself of the sofa for just that purpose.

At least while you're in Taiwan DKO won't have to "avail herself" of your creeping, stinky, moist, fat toes during her sofa time. Or is that just a loving brotherly gesture you only avail on sisters????
Have a great trip! And to DKO: Enjoy your brief vacation from the Mike-ster. Something tells me your sister won't exhaust you...
Have a great trip, MH! And, welcome to Tucson, Cathy! My mom also wanted me to be sure to send her love...
thinking of you, Diane! Glad to know your sis is in town...
ah, the guilty pleasures of PCD...i'm channel-changing between that and the results show for dancing with the stars, while trying to get some work done. i fly to utah for a conference tomorrow...
thinking of you with much love!
Thanks for the warning, MH. I'm so glad you're having some "sister" time while Mike is away. There is something very special about having a sister who's very close in spirit.
Have a wonderful week together.
Love & Prayers,
Jennie
