Alas, I spoke too soon

Well, as you can see from the last post, dko was feeling pretty lousy when she woke up from her post chemo nap later that day.

Yesterday was pretty miserable for her: lots of nausea. Today seems marginally better (but I could be wrong!). She's spent most of today sleeping, though we had a really nice visit from our old friend C.

I've been having a little stomach distress the last few days and this has happened a couple of times of the last few weeks. DKO did the math and it turns out it's happened right around chemo day the last three cycles, so we're figuring it's sympathetic. Not fun, but nothing compared to what she's going through.

Don't let her near you with that tongue of hers-- chemo for her and you have a stomach ache? Maybe it's not in your head!

Hope to have given you a giggle,
Eve
