We're now five days out from the first chemo.
DKO's symptoms/side-effects seem to be evolving. The muscle soreness and nausea seem to have ebbed, which is good, but now there's stomach issues: cramping and the like. It was bad enough last night that she couldn't sleep. She spoke to the on-call doctor this morning and he suggested some over-the-counter meds. I'm thinking we'll be talking to DKO's regular doctor about this tomorrow....

I don't remember hearing about cramping before; maybe it got jumbled in with all of the nausea. So is this a new symptom? Hope the MD gets her some answers and, more importantly, some relief!

DKO: Four words for you when spirits are low...America's Next Top Model! That show is a perennial on my faves. Unfortunately, the best one just got voted off (Kathleen - if you can catch a rebroadcast, do!!), but the show is really entertaining. TVgasm does a good recap of that (also of American Idol - are you following that this season? gettin good!)
